The Activ5 Orthopaedic Chair (also known as the ACT5) is our most popular selling chair and is designed to help improve your sitting posture. It’s ideal if you are a bad back sufferer because you can adjust every part of it and tailor it your own individual spine curvature, leg length and height requirements. It gives you good low, middle and upper back support through its natural back-shaped back cushion. It also has infinite variety in sitting and back angles and a rocking tilt action.

The Activ5 chair is good for people of different shapes and sizes and can be tailored for home or commercial office use. Different fabrics, adjustments, arms and lumbar can be added or removed to cater to different budgets. This chair is also suitable for 24 hour use and multi-user environments.

The Activ5 has a great deal of adjustability even on the standard, entry level model.
Seat height, seat depth, seat angle, independent back angle adjustment and simple ratchet back height adjustment come as standard in either Advantage/Ace or Phoenix fabric.
Options include inflatable lumbar, a choice of height adjustable arms, chrome base and a selection of fabrics & leathers.

Advantage & Ace is the most popular fabric range and is found on about 90% of office chairs in the UK, and included as standard within our pricing.
Our Vintage leather selection is made from best grade Italian Leather which is very smooth and supple, giving a slightly softer sit than a regular upholstery fabric. Because this is bought in specially, the delivery time may be slightly longer than the usual 10 working days.
24/7 and Flamblend fabric ranges should be considered if your chair(s) is being used in high usage environments e.g. 24 hour shift patterns, call centre, control rooms, etc. The fabrics have a very high durability level and high level of fire retardancy. All foams used are fire retardant and meet British BS standards.
